It was 2015, the distance of the bank from their village Karmatikara was 7

husband died of heat stroke that year. She felt helpless. She was mentally
and financially broken. When the Bank Mitra officer was informed about this,
he provided information about insurance under the Social Security Scheme.
Bank Mitra came home, got the form filled along with the documents, and

account and banking system. He is a marginal farmer. After opening
an account in the Barai branch of the Central Bank of India, Gajendra Singh
started using it and also spread awareness about the benefits
of this account in the nearby villages. His knowledge of financial

A large number of migrant workers live in the industrial town of Faridabad
in NCR. In those days, most of the industrial units used to pay cash to their
workers. In such a situation, the administration decided to bring them into
the banking system. State Bank of India started opening accounts here.
About 55 thousand accounts were opened, and passbooks and Rupay cards
were given. Most of the accounts were linked to Aadhaar and self-checking
machines were installed so that they could update the account themselves.
