        India's electronics sector is growing rapidly. Production
        has more than doubled from $48 billion in FY 2017
        to $101 billion in FY 2023. The main reason for this is
        mobile phones. India has reduced its dependence on
        smartphone imports to a great extent, now more than
        99% of smartphones are being produced in India itself.
        India is the second largest producer in the world in
        mobile production. Total mobile exports have reached
        Rs 3.22 lakh crore. There has been a 76-fold increase in
        the last decade.
