Unveiling a 77-foot-tall statue of
        Lord Ram in Goa

Today’s India... is advancing its cultural identity with renewed
resolve and renewed confidence. The Ramayana Circuit,
the Krishna Circuit, the development of Gaya, and the
unprecedented management of the Kumbh Mela are all
examples of this. This awakening inspires future generations
to remain connected to their roots. In this context, on
November 28th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited
Goa to attend the 550th anniversary celebrations of the
Sri Sansthan Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Math, where he
unveiled a 77-foot-tall bronze statue of Lord Ram. This
statue was created by renowned sculptor Ram Sutar. He also
inaugurated the Ramayana Theme Park and released a special
postage stamp and a commemorative coin. On this occasion,
PM Modi urged devotees from across the country to visit
the statue, calling it a special experience. At the event, Prime
Minister Modi reiterated his nine appeals, similar to those
he made at the Sri Krishna Matha in Karnataka, saying that
the dream of a developed India will only be realized if we
consider environmental protection our dharma. The earth is
our mother, and the teachings of the monasteries teach us to
        respect nature.

A Math that protects humanity and
        culture, along with religion

The Shree Sansthan Gokarna Partagali Jeevottam Math,
located in South Goa, is marked by a spirit of service that
has supported every section of society for centuries. When
the region faced adversity, the math provided support to the
community. Today, from education to hostels, from elderly
care to assistance to needy families, the math has consistently
dedicated its resources to public welfare. PM Modi says that
every initiative of the math is a testament to the fact that
when spirituality and service go hand in hand, society gains
stability and the inspiration to progress. For centuries, a
continuous flow of devotion, saintly traditions, and cultural
pursuits has flowed on the sacred land of Goa. This land,
along with its natural beauty, also holds the identity of “South
Kashi.” The Partagali Math has further deepened this identity. Scan the QR code to view the
