collective knowledge to future generations.
Promoting Africa’s development and young
talent is in the global interest. This is why India
has proposed the G-20-Africa Skills Multiplier
Initiative. This could operate under a ‘train-
the-trainers’ model for different sectors. PM
Modi stated that the collective goal is to train
one million trainers in Africa over the next
decade. India has proposed the formation
of a G20 Global Healthcare Response Team,
composed of trained medical experts from
G20 countries, ready for rapid deployment in
the event of a global health crisis or natural
disaster. We must work together to ensure
that the voice of the Global South is amplified
in all global institutions.
SECOND SESSION
PM Modi said that natural disasters pose a
significant challenge to humanity. Therefore,
global cooperation must be strengthened to
address natural disasters. With this vision,
India established the Disaster Risk Reduction
Working Group during its G20 presidency.
South Africa has also taken this agenda
forward. India believes that space technol-
ogy benefits all humanity. Therefore, India
has proposed the G20 Open Satellite Data
Partnership. This will make satellite data
and analysis from G20 space agencies more
accessible, interoperable, and useful for
countries in the Global South.
Sustainability and clean energy are essen-
tial for global growth. Critical minerals play a
vital role in ensuring this. Therefore, India has
proposed the G20 Critical Mineral Circularity
Initiative. This initiative could promote inno-
vations such as recycling, urban mining, and
second-life batteries. During the G20 summit
in New Delhi, India pledged to triple renew-
able energy and double energy efficiency by
2030. To achieve this goal, developed coun-
tries must fulfill their commitments to provide
affordable climate finance and technology in
a timely manner.

1 Building the G20 Global Traditional
Knowledge Repository: This will harness
humanity’s collective wisdom for the benefit of
future generations.
2 Building the G20 Africa Skills Multiplier:
This program aims to create a pool of 10 Lakh
certified trainers to skill youth in Africa. This
will build local capacities and promote long-term
development on the continent.
3 Building the G20 Global Healthcare
Response Team: This will comprise healthcare
experts from each G20 country and can be deployed
to address global health challenges in any part of
the world.
4 Establishing the G20 Open Satellite Data
Partnership: Through this program, satellite data
from G20 space agencies will be made available to
developing countries for activities such as agriculture,
fisheries, disaster management, and more.
5 Creation of the G20 Critical Minerals
Circularity Initiative: This initiative will promote
recycling, urban mining, second-life battery projects,
and a variety of innovations. It will help strengthen
supply chain security and develop cleaner pathways
to development.
6 Creation of the G20 Initiative to Counter
the Drug Terror Nexus: This will prevent drug
trafficking and dismantle the drug-terror economy.
