Prime Minister Modi said that where connectivity
increases, possibilities also increase. Like the
first NaMo Rail connecting Delhi-UP, such
connectivity, such infrastructure should reach
all the major cities of India, this is our need and
our direction.

regularly monitor infrastructure projects through
this Pragati platform. Such projects worth about
Rs 19 lakh crore were stuck.

that other developing countries also have
a valuable opportunity to revolutionize the
development of infrastructure by learning
from the experiences of Pragati.
•n PM Gatishakti National Master Plan has
been prepared for the right planning and
timely execution of infrastructure projects. It
has 1,600 data layers.
•n This is only our third term. We will
steadfastly make a modern and capable
India as per the requirement of the country
and to realize the resolve of Viksit Bharat.

ON THE UPLIFTMENT OF THE POOR...
Prime Minister Modi said that we have given true
development to the poor, not false slogans. Our
government has worked to create maximum
opportunities for the people of SC, ST and OBC
communities. PM Modi said that we have shaped the
schemes in the direction that the

poor should defeat poverty. We

said that in the last 10 years, 25 crore countrymen have
come out of poverty by defeating the poor.
•n How difficult it is to live under a thatched roof
with plastic sheets during the rainy season. Not
everyone can understand this. So far, the poor
have got 4 crore houses.
•n We have given 10% reservation to the poor of the
general category. The entire nation has accepted
this very openly
•n We have made changes in the education policy. We
have emphasized on studying in the mother tongue
and taking exams in the mother tongue. Due to this
change, today the poor child has started dreaming
of becoming a doctor or engineer.
VILLAGES, FARMERS & AGRICULTURE
Talking about an empowered farmer, a strong nation,
PM Modi said that without strengthening the rural
economy, we cannot build a Viksit Bharat. Therefore,
we have tried to touch every sector

this money has gone into the pockets of farmers. Our
farmer is a strong pillar among the 4 pillars of Viksit
Bharat. In the last decade, the budget of agriculture

•n To provide cheap fertilizers to farmers, Rs 12 lakh
crore has been spent in the last 10 years. About Rs
3.5 lakh crore has reached the farmers’ accounts
directly from PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
•n Record MSP has been increased and three times
more purchases have been made in the last
decade compared to earlier. Farmers get easy
and cheap loans, there has also been a three-fold
increase in that. Farmers have received Rs 2 lakh
crore under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana .
•n With the inspiration of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar, a
campaign was launched to complete more than
100 major irrigation projects, which were pending
for decades. Work started to connect rivers.
