n India is the first G20 country to achieve the targets
of Paris agreement. Today, India is the world’s third
           largest producer of solar energy.
n India’s solar power generation capacity has
grown 32-fold in the last 10 years.
n Through schemes like PM Surya Ghar, ordinary
families and farmers of the country have been
made ‘Urza datta’. This is creating new skills in the
solar sector, creating a new service ecosystem.

n India currently has an ethanol blending rate of 19%.
This has increased the income of the farmers along
with the saving of foreign exchange. This year, India
is trying to achieve a 20% ethanol blending rate.
n During India’s presidency of the G20, the global
biofuels alliance was formed, which is steadily
growing. 12 international organizations and 28
