Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya
On his death anniversary, 11 February, the nation pays tribute
Pioneer of Antyodaya
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, who lived his life on the principle of
“सर्ववजन हितााय-सर्ववजन सुखााय”, was born on 25 September 1916 and died
on 11 February 1968. He established unparalleled ideals in Indian
politics through his thoughts and dedication. His philosophy of
Integral Humanism is capable of providing solutions not only to
India’s problems but also to those of the world. He envisioned
Antyodaya, believing that the measure of India’s progress would
be the smile on the face of the “last person” standing in the last
row. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expanded this Antyodaya
to encompass saturation coverage. The effort to reach the last
person in the queue and the pursuit of justice in line with Pandit
Deendayal Upadhyaya vision has been ongoing for the past 11 years...
On the death anniversary of Pandit
Deendayal Upadhyaya, we pay him our
heartfelt tributes. He was a visionary thinker
who dedicated himself to the service of
the nation. His philosophy of uplifting
the last person in society inspires our
journey towards a strong nation.
His sacrifice and ideals for
progress and unity continue
to be a guiding force in our
collective mission.
Narendra Modi
Prime Minister
