Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) already exists, the 33
percent reservation for women was to be ensured within
this existing framework. However, the legislation enacted
in 2023 was formally notified on April 16, 2026. This implies

actualization.

introduced the Bill in the 12th Lok Sabha. Later, during the
