Startup India, one of the most successful schemes
of the Government, has done a remarkable

turnaround with more than 50,000 Startups creating
millions of job, improving state of the economy and
standard of living of the people

hen Prime Minister Narendra Modi
announced the Startup India Campaign
Wfrom the ramparts of Red Fort on August
15, 2015, the entire nation supported the cause
and within four years after the launch of the
scheme on January 16, 2016, India is among
the largest countries of the world with more than
50,000 Startups at the moment. The scheme is
not only preparing young entrepreneurs for future
business challenges but is also providing ample
job opportunities to the youth.
Announcing the Startup plan, Prime Minister
Narendra Modi said, “We have to make India
number one among Startups. Banks will provide
easy loans to new entrepreneurs. The 1.25 Lakh
bank branches of the country will make special
schemes for the downtrodden. More help will be
given to those Startup projects which will generate
more jobs.”
Through this flagship scheme, the
Government intends to build a strong
ecosystem for nurturing innovation
and Startups in the country that
will drive sustainable economic I see Startups, technology
growth and generate large and innovation as exciting
scale employment and effective instruments for
opportunities.
