Apart from freeing the students from the burden of past rules and regulations, the
government will further improve the education and skill development sectors. Skill and
education are the two most important tools of the country in the Amrit Kaal. The youth
are leading the Amrit Yatra with the vision of a developed India. That's why the youth have
been given the highest priority in the first general budget of Amritkaal. The foundation has
been strengthened to make education pragmatic and industry oriented. In the new National
Education Policy, equal emphasis has been laid on learning and efficiency. E-learning
platforms like 'Swayam' and the National Digital Library are also going to become a great
medium of knowledge so that a bright future for our young generation can be built with new
resolve and new energy with everyone's participation..

Budget Proposals

n Under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 lakhs of youth will
be skilled, re-skilled, and up-skilled.

n PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana, emphasis will be given
to the skill development of traditional artisans, handicraftsmen, and
artists.

n There will be 3 centers of excellence for artificial intelligence.
n Laboratories will now also be made available for research and
development teams of medical colleges and the private sector.
