n 'On-the-job learning' gets emphasis in many countries.
The central government is focusing on providing
internships and apprenticeships to the youth of the
country to give them 'beyond the classroom experience'.
n Industries and educational institutions have been urged
to make maximum use of the National Internship Portal
and further expand the internship culture in the country.
n The role of partnership between academia and industry
was underlined in bringing about rapid changes in the
education sector in India.
n Research should be done according to the needs of the
market while creating possibilities for proper funding
from the research industry.
n The private sector should take full advantage of all the
steps taken to strengthen the research and development
eco-system in the country.
n Education and expertise are not limited to the concerned
ministry or department, but their potential exists in every
sector.
n Prime Minister Modi urged all skill and education
stakeholders to study the opportunities in various
sectors and help create the required manpower.
n The Prime Minister has expressed his desire to create an
updated database of youth who have been trained under
the 'Skill India Mission'.
n With the arrival of digital technology and artificial
intelligence, India's trained manpower should not be left
behind, so the Prime Minister urged industry experts to
work in this direction.
In the Covid period, it was felt
that a new type of classroom
should be constructed with
the help of new technology.
Therefore, the government is
focusing on such a tool that
can ensure 'anywhere access
to knowledge'. The futuristic
initiatives will change the entire perspective of
