INDIA'S G-20 PRESIDENCY
INDIA GIVES SOLUTIONS
TO GLOBAL CHALLENGES
India, which is hosting the G-20 for the first time, is providing stewardship on the global stage
as its President. On the theme of the G-20 presidency, “Vasudhaiva-Kutumbakam – One
Earth, One Family, One Future”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, “This theme indicates the
need for solidarity in purpose and action. There is a feeling of solidarity. For this, we have to
rise above differences and find solutions." The first fortnight of March saw the first meeting of
the Anti-Corruption Working Group in Gurugram, the G-20 Foreign Ministers meeting in New
Delhi, and the second meeting of the Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion in Hyderabad.
