In the Amrit Kaal, it is necessary to make the new
generation aware of personalities, who inspired and
strengthened the resolve of other freedom fighters.
Veer Surendra Sai was among such freedom fighters
who spent almost 4 decades (36 years) in jail for the
motherland, while Thakur Roshan Singh went to the
gallows for the sake of the nation. This time along with
the stories of Veer Surendra Sai, Thakur Roshan Singh
also read about the contributions made by Satyavati Devi
and Tej Bahadur Sapru to the freedom struggle. Republic
Day is also coinciding with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
