FIRE OF
INDIA'S FREEDOM
Many people chose to sacrifice their lives in the fight for freedom to
free Mother India from the bonds of slavery. Following the ideals of
"Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat," the freedom fighters worked to unite
the country and chose a way of life that would allow them to fulfil
their resolution moment by moment. India's freedom fighters not
only gave the freedom struggle a new direction, but they also worked
to awaken the people. Freedom fighters and revolutionaries such
as Hemu Kalani, Krantiveer Charuchandra Bose, Pandit Kanshiram,
and Hanuman Prasad Poddar used sacrifice and penance to raise
awareness of the freedom movement throughout India.
