President spends time at Blue Flag Puri Beach

Cool breeze, roar of waves,

and vast expanse of water

Odisha's scenic beauty, temples,
monuments, crafts, wildlife sanctuaries,
natural landscapes, and pristine
beaches make it a lucrative tourist
destination. The central government
has also announced assistance for the
development of these tourist destinations
in the budget. President Droupadi Murmu,
after participating in the Lord Jagannath
Rath Yatra, arrived on the morning of 8
July 2024 to spend time on the Golden
Beach of the holy city of Puri, this beach
has received Blue Flag certification for
cleanliness and management. After the
stroll, President Droupadi Murmu said,
"Here I found a deep inner peace which
I felt while visiting Mahaprabhu Shri
Jagannath ji, I am not the only one to
experience this. Mountains, forests, rivers,
and beaches appeal to our inner self…

There are places that bring us closer to the essence of life and
remind us that we are part of nature. When I was walking on the
beach, I felt a deep connection with the surroundings – the cool

breeze, the roar of the waves, and the vast expanse of water. It was
