‘Nation First’
As the nation celebrates its 80th Independence
Day this August 15th, a strong resolve resonates
in the heart of every Indian: the realization
of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by the centenary of its Twho laid down their lives during the struggle
independence. Independence Day is no longer
merely an event; it is a tribute to the great souls
who struggled for freedom, made supreme
sacrifices, and dedicated themselves to the India
of their dreams. Over the past 12 years, this
celebration of freedom has transformed into a
festival of development. The Central Government
has steered the reconstruction of India onto a
new path, building upon a robust foundation so
that by the centenary year of 2047, India may
stand proudly among the echelon of developed
nations rather than developing ones.

tal freedom fighters—men and women alike—
for independence. It is also an occasion to honour the
distinguished members of the Constituent Assembly
who, through the Constitution, empowered every
Indian with fundamental rights and the strength to take
pride in their nation. It is a moment for introspection—
to cherish our glorious past, to grasp the true meaning
of liberty, to reflect on the direction the country has
taken over the last eight decades, and to determine our
course of action as an independent nation in the years
ahead.
