A strong justice delivery system is the foundation of a civilized society, encompassing vast
significance. With this vision, on July 1, 2024, India replaced three colonial-era laws—
rooted in a mindset of servitude—that had relied on the principle of punishment for over
a century and a half. Two years ago, the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik
Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam ushered in a new era—shifting
the focus from punishment to justice—through a complete Swadeshi process. After two
centuries, India finally secured its own laws in the 21st century, free from the shadow
of colonial subjugation. Consequently, the very language and framework of justice have
transformed over the past two years for citizens, the police, and the courts alike. Through
this shift, the people of India are witnessing the dawn of an indigenous justice system...
