                   A Courageous Journalist Who Used The Might Of The
                  Pen To Fight For Freedom

                     KA Damodar Menon—a renowned Indian journalist, freedom fighter, and social worker-
                  played an active role in India’s struggle for independence and raised a powerful voice against
                      British rule. During his long association with the Mathrubhumi newspaper, he penned
                  impactful writings on various social and political issues. Fearlessness, integrity, impartiality,
                     and a deep commitment to the public interest were the hallmarks of his journalism. He
                      transformed these traits into formidable weapons during the freedom struggle. After
                      independence, Damodar Menon, driven by the noble objective of public service, made
                           significant contributions to public awareness, education, and social reform.
