every citizen of the country feels
part of this change. Thus, the
achievements of the last 12 years
under the leadership of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi represent
the ‘Amrit’—distilled from years of
rigorous dedication and penance; it
is this essence that, with unwavering
resolve to transform India into a
developed nation during the ‘Amrit
Kaal’, has now set forth decisively on
the path of national reconstruction.

here comes a moment in a nation’s journey of development
when the country redefines itself. It embraces new resolves
and seeks out the path to their realization. Driven by unyield-
ing willpower, it dedicates itself to bringing these aspirations
Tto fruition; it is precisely at this juncture that transformations
begin—changes destined to remain etched in the collective memory
of the people for generations to come. In the year 2014, the country’s
political landscape underwent a profound shift. The nation witnessed a
new dawn—the inception of a journey of development that continues,
uninterrupted, to this very day. On June 9, the government completed
twelve years in this journey of national reconstruction—a journey un-
dertaken by a nation marching forward with the monumental resolve
to become a ‘Viksit Bharat.’ In Indian culture and across the scriptures
of various faiths, the number 12 holds a special significance. According
to scriptural traditions, the objective of 12 years of ‘Tapasya’ (rigorous
spiritual discipline) is to guide the seeker toward attaining spiritual
wisdom and self-realization. It is important to note that a 12-year period
of such intense discipline is a rigorous and arduous process—one that
not everyone is capable of undertaking. Under the leadership of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi, this 12-year journey of development has not
merely addressed the immediate exigencies of the moment; rather, it
has been grounded in a well-considered, long-term vision. The 12-year
journey of development undertaken by the current Central Govern-
ment represents that very ‘Amrit’—that essence distilled from years
of dedication and penance—which, with an unwavering commitment
to transforming India into a developed nation during the ‘Amrit Kaal,’
has now surged ahead rapidly on the path toward fulfilling the grand
resolve of a ‘Developed India.’
Indeed, over the past 12 years, the ethos of Service is our Resolve—
coupled with a steadfast commitment to advancing along the Kartavya
Path—has shattered old paradigms and forged a new trajectory for de-
velopment. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the
initiatives undertaken over the last 12 years to deliver benefits to the
marginalized people and to instill a true sense of freedom have etched
an indelible mark—one that, commencing from the Azadi Ka Amrit Kaal,
is poised to script the new destiny of a “New India” as it progresses to
its centenary year. This New India fosters the dreams of its youth, ful-
fills the aspirations of its Nari Shakti, provides ample opportunities for
the poor to advance, and elevates the ambitions of the middle class to
new heights. The economy is growing at a rapid pace. Over the last 12
years, the benefits of numerous schemes have reached the doorsteps
of millions of poor citizens. Today, every poor person in the country
recognizes the transformative power of schemes ranging from Ujjwala
to Ayushman Bharat. The pace of implementing government schemes
has accelerated; they are now consistently achieving their targets.
