                     The Network of Roads

From the glaciers of the Himalayas to the river valleys, and from scorching deserts to
inaccessible terrains, the indelible imprint of the Border Roads Organisation’s courage is evident
everywhere. For soldiers deployed along the borders, the roads constructed by the BRO are of
immense strategic importance; for villagers residing in remote valleys, they serve as a bridge
of hope. Established on May 7, 1960, the BRO lives by an inspiring motto—‘Shramena Sarvam
Sadhyam’—which translates to ‘Everything is achievable through hard work’...
