                             PATEL AT THE STATUE OF UNITY IN KEVADIYA


             Paid tribute to Sardar Patel at the Statue of Unity and participated in the National
             Unity Day celebrations. The National Unity Day Parade was also held during which
             BSF and police forces from five states - one each from every zone- Northern Zone
             (Haryana), Western Zone (Madhya Pradesh), South Zone (Telangana), Eastern Zone
             (Odisha) and Northeast Zone (Tripura)- participated in the event. Apart from these
             contingents, six Police Sports medalists from Commonwealth Games 2022 also
             participated in the parade. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the trainee
             officers of the 97th Common Foundation Course at the culmination of Aarambh
             4.0. Two new tourist sites in Kevadiya were dedicated to the Maze Garden and
             Miyawaki Forest.
             The Maze garden is spread over 3 acres which makes it the largest Maze garden

             'Shriyantra'. A total of 1.8 lakh saplings have been planted in the garden.
             Miyawaki Forest has been developed in an area of about 2 acres. This includes an
             indigenous flower garden, timber garden, fruit orchard, medicinal garden, separate
             section of mixed species, and a Digital Orientation Center. It has been developed
             using Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki's technique, which helps in creating a
             dense and indigenous forest in less time.
